One minute it’s Memorial Day, and the next it’s June!
There are tax things happening in June, but first…
How many people saw the headline Summer Nights,
…and thought of the Van Halen song from 5150, the first album with Sammy Hagar?
NOT the sappy-ass duet from the movie Grease.
Sorry if you’re a Grease fan. The only thing that saved it for me was Olivia Newton-John. She was so gosh-darn cute, back in the day.
Anyway, 1040 tax season is over, finally.
The 2nd estimated tax deadline is coming, but still 14 days away.
Over half of the country is inoculated now against the Scourge of the 21st century.
The masks are off everywhere I look (still wearing mine inside retail establishments, for now…).
Most days it’s nice enough to go for my morning run in short sleeves.
I LOVE summer!
More so because big things are coming this summer, with tax season safely tucked away behind us.
Newer more all-conclusive tax and wealth programs.
Expanding services through our strategic partnerships with other related businesses.
We’re changing the way we do taxes for people in a big way, and…
…we’re even going to open up a new Facebook group for all of our favorite people.
You small business-people that said to yourself: “Yes, I can!”
“I can build something great, not only for myself and my family, but for the community and maybe even the world!”
Big things are coming.
It feels so good, like that summer’s-finally-here feeling I can still remember from my school days.
It felt like freedom, to do anything anytime, and go anywhere.
Often with no shoes.
I feel like I wore no shoes 3 months out of every year my whole childhood!
Why not, indeed?
Oh, and if you’re not familiar with that song, copy and paste Summer Nights by Van Halen into your YouTube Music, or other music service.
It’s a fun, happy song. You’ll thank me later.
New community, new services, big paradigm shifts.
