I CAN talk about it.
Sure, who DOESN’T love talking about themself?
Especially if you’ve built a business based on an idea into a living/breathing entity.
Sounds like sorcery, right?
Abracadabra and POOF!
You’re a business!
Let me tell you something…
Whatever you’re doing…whether you’re one of my Realtor people.
Or a guy with a pickup truck and a dog, and a strong back and years of handyman experience…
Or whatever else…
…you are a business-person.
A small business-person.
What our aspiring political personalities refer to as the “Backbone of America.”
Here’s where we come to the part about myself that I’m refusing to talk about, at least today.
What. I. Do.
I want to talk about you, instead.
Working hard, maybe paying a few people and issuing your 1099-MISC’s every January.
Putting together your 1040 on time.
Listing the money that came in, and the ordinary and necessary expenses of your business that went out.
Your income tax is a percentage, minus your standard (or itemized) deduction, and your qualified business income deduction.
If you have kids 16 or under you reduce the tax even further. There are some other things that will, also.
THEN. The “Other Tax.”
Most of the time it’s even higher than the income tax.
Without any relief or write-off, BAM.
15.3% of your net business income.
Never mind what I can do about it.
Let me just ask you one simple question today:
If you could do something about that tax…
…completely legal and above board…
…why wouldn’t you want to?
If you’ve read this far, and are wondering what I’m talking about, it’s called self-employment tax.
You SHOULD be paying SOMETHING into the social security and medicare system, sure, but…
…you DO NOT have to over-pay.
It really is all about you. And your family, too.
I won’t talk about myself today, but I will talk to you…
…if you want to.
All you have to do is schedule a free call.
